Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how Metahuman Network LLC (we, us, our) handles information in the course of providing managed IT services, SaaS, our software, and our mobile apps.

Overview

Metahuman Network LLC is an Oregon-based technology company providing managed IT services, custom software and application development, professional installation and configuration of network infrastructure and security systems to Individuals, Residential and Small Business customers. In delivering these services we may access and process data that belongs to yourself or your organization and its users.

This policy explains: the services we provide, how our service contracts govern data handling, the categories of information we process, and - importantly - which of the software tools we deploy transmit data over the network or internet versus those that operate locally only.

We operate out of Scappoose, Oregon, but provide online and app services throughout the United States.

MSP Services We Provide

We may process data while delivering the managed services listed below.

Service Contracts and Agreements

Our handling of your data is governed by the contract(s) between us and your organization - typically a Master Services Agreement (MSA), one or more Statements of Work (SOW), and where applicable a Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

Roles: For most services we act as a data processor or sub-processor acting on your documented instructions; your organization remains the data controller.
Scope and duration: We process data only as needed to deliver the contracted services, for the duration of the active agreement.
Retention on termination: On termination we return or securely delete client data within 60 days of the end of the agreement, unless the contract specifies otherwise.
Subcontractors / sub-processors: We may rely on vetted third-party vendors and tools (see the software table below). A current sub-processor list is available on request.

Please reach out to hello@metahuman.network if you would like to review our MSA, SOW or DPA documentation before requesting any of our services.

Information We Process

Depending on the services contracted, we may process the following categories of information on your behalf:

Software and Tools: Network / Internet Access

The table below lists the categories of software and tools we may deploy in your environment and whether each transmits data over the network or internet (cloud / SaaS or remote connectivity) or operates locally only (on-device, no outbound data transfer).
Application / Tool Purpose Network / Internet Access Notes
NinjaOne RMM Remote monitoring and management Yes – cloud Sends device telemetry to vendor cloud
NinjaOne Remote Remote support sessions Yes – internet Encrypted remote connection
CombineRMM Remote monitoring and management (our own platform) Yes – our servers or yours Device telemetry goes to a Metahuman-run node, or can be fully self-hosted / air-gapped on your network
SentinelOne Endpoint security Yes – cloud console Threat data synced to vendor
Backblaze Backup / disaster recovery Yes – offsite Encrypted offsite replication
Metahuman Helpdesk Support and billing Yes – SaaS Ticket and contact data
Disk imaging / cloning tools Local imaging No – local only Operates on local media
Summary. Tools marked Yes transmit data over the network or internet (to a vendor cloud, our management platform, or an offsite location). Tools marked No run locally on the device and do not transmit data externally. We limit network-connected tools to those required to deliver the contracted services, and we vet each vendor for appropriate security and data-handling practices.

Our Apps and Your Data

This section applies to the apps Metahuman Network publishes on the Apple App Store and through TestFlight, including GetRipt and Dungeon Chores. The short version: your app data belongs to you. It lives on your device and in your own iCloud account, and it is never sold or shared with third parties.

Your data stays on your device and in your iCloud. App data (workouts, food logs, chores, notes, and settings) is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, it is also saved to your private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit, so it's backed up and synced across your devices. Apple stores that data under your Apple Account. Metahuman Network cannot see, access, or download it, and we keep no copies. If you share data with other people (for example, a Dungeon Chores household), Apple's iCloud sharing handles it, and only the people you invite can see it.

GetRipt Crews. Crews are optional workout groups of up to 10 people, joined only through an invite link from the crew owner or a member. If you start or join a crew, its members can see the crew data you choose to share there: your crew nickname and emoji, your live set progress, the workouts and sets you log, your personal records (PRs), your challenge scores, and the preset cheers you send. Crew data is stored in the crew owner's iCloud through Apple's CloudKit sharing and is visible only to that crew's members. Metahuman Network runs no servers for crews and cannot see this data. Apple Health data is never shared with your crew. Crews have no free-text messages. You can mute any member, the crew owner can remove members and revoke their access, and anyone can leave a crew at any time. If you use "Report a problem" in a crew, the email you send comes to us.

No accounts, ads, or tracking. These apps don't require an account with us. They contain no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell or share your personal data.

Requests you make. Some features look up information when you ask for it. For example, when you scan a barcode or search for a food, the app sends that barcode or search text to Open Food Facts, a free public food database, and gets nutrition details back. Only the lookup itself is sent. Your name, health data, and other app data are not included. As with any internet request, the service can see your device's IP address, and its own privacy policy applies. Links to outside content, such as exercise videos on YouTube, open in that service.

Apple Health. If you give permission, GetRipt can read and write Apple Health data such as weight, dietary energy, active energy, heart rate, and workouts. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never sent to Metahuman Network or any third party. You can change these permissions at any time in the Health app or in Settings.

Camera and photos. When an app uses your camera (for example, to scan a barcode) or your photo library, the images are processed on your device and are not sent to us.

Purchases. In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details.

Crash reports and TestFlight. If you use a TestFlight beta, or you have turned on "Share with App Developers" (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and diagnostic data with us. Apple anonymizes these reports. They include technical details such as device model, iOS version, and the part of the app that crashed, and we use them only to find and fix bugs. TestFlight feedback you choose to send, including comments and screenshots, also reaches us through Apple. If you were invited to a beta by email, Apple shows us the name and email address used for the invitation.

Deleting your data. Deleting an app removes its data from your device. To remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud and manage the storage for that app. Because we never hold a copy, there is nothing on our side to delete. Leaving a GetRipt crew deletes your crew profile and the entries you shared with it, and when a crew owner deletes a crew, its data is deleted for everyone. Questions? Email hello@metahuman.network.

Apps with accounts. Stedfast and The Fieldhouse use accounts and their own secure servers to sync and share information, so each has its own privacy policy: Stedfast Privacy Policy and The Fieldhouse Privacy Policy.

Security and Retention

We protect data using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access controls, and monitoring.

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal, tax, or contractual obligations. Retention periods are defined in the applicable contract but are at most 3 years for tax purposes. Any user data, backups, etc. are not included in the longer retention and will be removed upon any agreed-upon date if out of contract.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law and our role under the contract, individuals may have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we typically process data on behalf of your organization, requests are usually directed to that organization (the data controller), and we will assist as required by contract and law.
